Das diskrete Wirken von politischen Lobbyisten ist das Thema des Vortrags von Roland Röder (Aktion 3.Welt Saar). Der Referent setzt sich damit auseinander, inwieweit diese beiden Lobbyorganisationen die Demokratie gefährden, indem sie an demokratisch gewählten und
legitimierten Strukturen vorbei Einfluss auf Gesetze nehmen.

Sowohl die vom Metall-Arbeitgeberverband finanzierte "Initiative Neue Soziale Marktwirtschaft (INSM)" wie auch die "Bertelsmann Stiftung" fahren doppelgleisig: Neben der klassischen Form des Lobbyismus, diskrete Absprachen zu treffen, suchen beide  Organisationen bewusst die Öffentlichkeit und präsentieren die Ergebnisse ihrer informell
eingefädelten Vereinbarungen in Form von Expertisen und in Talkshows. Ihr Ziel: Freier Kapitalfluss und neoliberale Globalisierung. Ihre "natürlichen Gegner" sind demnach Gewerkschaften, Parlamente, demokratische Entscheidungsstrukturen, Tarifverträge und politische Regelungen zu Gunsten sozial Schwacher. Eben all dies, was die freie Entfaltung des Kapitals behindert. Nur ganz so offen kann dies nicht formuliert werden. Es würde auffallen, der antidemokratische Geist käme zu Tage.
