"Die angekündigte vorübergehende Abschaltung von sieben deutschen Atomkraftwerken (AKWs) durch die Bundesregierung ist richtig und ein erster Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Die Kritik von Rot-Grün, dies sei lediglich Wahlkampf, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen." So kommentiert Ingrid Röder von der Aktion 3.Welt Saar die atompolitische Kehrtwende der schwarz-gelben Bundesregierung angesichts der Atomkatastrophe in Japan. Wer in einer solchen Situation den Ausstieg nicht anordnet und lieber den Konsens mit der Atomindustrie sucht, braucht sich nachher nicht zu wundern, wenn diese die Gunst der Stunde nutzt", so Ingrid Röder. Die Geschichte der Anti-Atom-Bewegung in Deutschland hat gezeigt, dass Parteien immer nur auf Druck dieser Bewegung reagieren. Wenn dieser Druck nachließ, haben sich Rot-Grün ebenso wie Schwarz-Gelb auf verlängerte Laufzeiten eingelassen.
